What is the appropriate amount of time to wait to try for a second kid after the first kid's birth

1. What is the biological minimum amount of time you must wait before getting pregnant again 

     2.  What is the least amount that wont kill/affect the baby/mother , like when does a female fully recover after giving birth to be able to do it again
